Overcast at first today with scattered outbreaks of rain but becoming dry by this afternoon, apart from showers in the south and southwest.

Spells of hazy sunshine developing in the midlands, west and northwest but mist or fog patches persisting near southern and eastern coasts.

Highest temperatures 15 to 20 degrees Celsius.

Winds moderate, occasionally fresh, easterly.


Outbreaks of rain developing tonight in south Munster, and coastal fog patches still possible in the east, otherwise dry with broken cloud.

Moderate to fresh, easterly breezes persisting and temperatures falling no lower than 11 or 12 degrees Celsius.
