Gardaí at Ronanstown in Dublin are investigating a shooting incident which occurred just before 9.00pm last night.

A man aged in his 20s received gunshot wounds to his leg and arm at Shancastle Drive in Clondalkin.

He was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The scene is currently sealed off pending a Garda Forensic Examination.

Investigating gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Ronanstown garda station.

The attack is not believed to be linked to the Kinahan-Hutch gang feud, which has claimed several lives since Christmas.
