Mostly cloudy today with outbreaks of rain and sleet spreading southeastwards to all areas early this morning. Bands of heavy or prolonged showers of rain or hail with a risk of thunder will follow from the northwest through the day.
Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with winds increasing fresh, gusty west to northwest.
Showers will continue tonight and will become wintry in places, especially on high ground with snow flurries possible.
Clear spells also with lowest temperatures of 0 to 2 degrees and frost developing.
