Irish dad invents a humane critter catcher for taking spiders outside

Put down the shoe, book or whatever else you usually throw at spiders - the Critter Catcher is here

Irishman Tony Allen's son has a fear of spiders and rather than killing said critters, Allen designed and developed a techie tool to help solve the issue.

This is 'The Critter Catcher":

The device puts a safe distance between you and the creepy crawly and uses a catch and release system to move the spider.

We share our homes with hundreds of kinds of bugs, but the bigger, more visible ones might need to be escorted outside. And as the video says of the Critter Catcher, "It's perfect for the arachnophobic pacifist."
