Man in critical condition after stabbing in Belfast

A 51-year-old was stabbed in the stomach after an incident at a house

A man is in critical condition after being stabbed in Belfast.

It is understood the 51-year-old victim was stabbed in the stomach in the incident at a house in Vere Foster Walk at about 4:00 am on Saturday morning.

Investigating detectives are appealing to anyone with information to come forward and contact them on the non-emergency number 101.

The incident comes after a man was shot three times and killed in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast.

Police say the victim was shot three times in the leg in an alleyway at Butler Place close to Elmfield Street just after 10:00pm on Friday night.
