Saturday’s weather: Dry start with rain and spot flooding later

Today

A dry start for most parts of the country with mist and fog thinning to allow a little brightness though it will be predominately cloudy.

Rain in the southeast will gradually spread to most of the country during the day.

Some spot flooding likely especially near the south and east coast where an onshore wind will freshen and become blustery.

Lighter winds elsewhere, highest temperatures around nine to 11 degrees.

Tonight

Further rain and drizzle will fall tonight, it will be persistent at times. Lowest temperatures between three and seven degrees in moderate southeast winds.
