Garda motorbike collides with ambulance during 1916 Commemorations

Investigations into the accident are currently taking place

A Garda and a paramedic have been hospitalised after a collision in Dublin this afternoon.

The incident happened when an ambulance and a Garda vehicle collided on the North Circular Road at 2pm while the Easter 1916 Commemorations were taking place across the capital.

The men were taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment.

Investigations are being carried out.
