A massive sinkhole has opened in the US state of Michigan.

The hole, measuring some 12-feet wide, caused traffic to divert in Detroit.

The hole opened shortly after midday on March 3rd.

According to local reports from The Detroit News, the hole was caused by a collapsed sewer pipe.

A contractor has been scheduled to assess the damage and cover the road's exposed gas lines.

Had to see with my on eyes Greenfield and Tireman.
