Isolated wintry showers will continue overnight but overall it will be a largely dry night.
Northerly winds will continue although they will moderate somewhat.
Lowest temperatures will be between zero and plus 2 degrees.
There is a snow and ice warning in place for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal.
Cold tonight with some frost and icy patches. Some sleet and snow showers at times too, especially on high ground, but there is also a risk at lower levels, with possibly between 1 and 3 cm locally. Parts of Ulster and Leinster are most at risk later tonight.
