Man arrested after over €250,000 worth of drugs found in the North

Detectives made the discovery in a follow-up search

In the North, police have recovered drugs with an estimated street value of stg£200,000 (€256,786).

Detectives made the discovery as a result of a follow-up search of a premises linked to the seizure of drugs worth more than stg£500,000 (€642,000) in a lorry on the M2.

The find was made shortly before 11.00pm last night.

A 39-year-old man arrested last night remains in police custody.
