The last of the rain, sleet and snow will clear this morning and the day will be mostly dry with some sunny spells but there will be some local showers also.
A cold day with frost and icy patches in places this morning and top temperatures of just 5 to 8 degrees in moderate northeasterly winds.
Dry tonight apart from a few wintry showers and very cold with a widespread frost and some icy patches. Some fog also. Lowest temperatures of zero to -4 degrees.
