St James' Hospital staff vote in favour of strike action

Workers at St James' Hospital in Dublin have voted in favour of industrial action - over plans to charge for staff car parking.

The hospital is expected to begin charging €500 per year for the facilities in the near future.

IMPACT balloted its 470 members - 91% of whom have given their backing to action.
