Republican candidates continue to drop out from the Presidential race as Donald Trump and Ted Cruz dominate the early ratings.

Chris Christie has suspended his bid to become the Republican candidate in the US Presidential election race.

An aide for the New Jersey Governor confirmed his decision this evening.

He finished sixth in the New Hampshire primary last night.

Similarly, Carly Fiorina has confirmed today to be ending her campaign.

This reduces the number of Republicans to represent the party in November's presidential election to just seven, including Donald Trump, who won yesterday's New Hampshire primary.
