The Green Party says the GSOC should investigate the actions of the Garda Public Order Unit during disturbances in central Dublin yesterday.

An RTE cameraman was reportedly injured amid chaotic scenes as Gardai used batons to separate a group of anti-racism protesters from members of the far-right group Pegida.

Gardaí became involved after the Pegida supporters were chased into a discount store on North Earl St.
