The service will only be attended by family and close friends
Terry Wogan's funeral will take place next week in Britain in private.
The BBC has said say a service will be held with only his family and very close friends present.
A public memorial service is likely to be held at a later date.
"No further details will be released, and we ask that the family's wish for privacy is respected at this time," the BBC statement added.
The veteran broadcaster died of cancer last Sunday at the age of 77.
He had not been seen in public since November when he pulled out of hosting the BBC's annual Children in Need telethon.
