25,000 new weekly listeners tuned in during 2015
The latest JNLR results released today show that Newstalk now reaches 709,000 listeners weekly.
This means that year on year the station’s weekly listenership is up by 25,000.
Newstalk Breakfast is up 6,000 year-on-year, with 171,000 listeners now tuning in daily to Chris and Ivan.
George Hook is now reaching 19,000 more listeners than this time last year, with a daily audience of 145,000.
The Pat Kenny Show remains strong on 133,000, while Lunchtime is now at 80,000, up 2,000 since this time last year.
Moncrieff has a daily listenership of 120,000, up 1,000 since last year.

After just 6 months on air ‘The Colette Fitzpatrick Show’ has 42,000 people tuning in every Sunday
And ‘Off The Ball’ affirms its position as Ireland’s premier sport’s programme with 46,000 weekday listeners
Commenting on the latest JNLR figures, Tim Collins, CEO said: “2015 was a great year for Newstalk. Year on year we have seen strong growth across our prime-time schedule.
