In the North, a policewoman has been charged with a number of offences in connection with the murder of a man in Co Antrim.

28-year-old James McDonagh died in hospital in January from head injuries after being assaulted outside a nightclub in Toomebridge.

The 33-year-old officer faces two counts of perverting the course of justice and a charge of withholding information.

She will appear at Magherafelt Magistrates' Court later this month.
