Dry and bright in many places at first today but rain arriving in the southwest later this morning will spread to the rest of the country during the afternoon. However, the rain will become light and intermittent in many places this evening.
Moderate to fresh, locally strong, southerly winds will back southeasterly for a time with the onset of rain. Generally mild; highest temperatures 10 to 12 degrees Celsius.
Although it will stay mostly cloudy across the country tonight, many places will become dry. However, southern and western coastal districts will have spells of drizzle, together with fog patches.
Southerly winds will tend to moderate over land and it will remain mild. Lowest temperatures 6 to 9 degrees Celsius.
