Mostly cloudy and misty this morning, with fog patches. A little patchy frost, with a risk of a few icy patches also. Dry in most areas at first, but a little patchy drizzle will occur, mainly in the north and along and more persistent rain will develop in west and southwest coastal areas, spreading gradually across the country as the day progresses, reaching all parts by evening.
Rain will turn heavy at times, especially in then west and south. Becoming breezy also, with freshening southeasterly winds.
Maximum temperatures 6 to 10 Celsius, mildest along west and southern coasts.
Tonight will be breezy and mostly overcast, with occasional rain, heavy at times. Hill and coastal fog also.
Quite mild, with minimum temperatures of 4 to 7 Celsius, with winds gradually decreasing light to moderate southeast to east.
