Today will be another cold day. It will be mostly cloudy with showery outbreaks of rain and sleet in the west spreading to all parts this morning and early afternoon. 

Later in the day, heavy showers are likely in the west and north, with a risk of thunder and some snow on high ground.

Highest temperatures of just 3 to 6 degrees in light to moderate southwest breezes, but fresh near Munster coasts.
