Enda Kenny defends Ireland's screening process for refugees

The Taoiseach's defended the screening process for refugees - saying there are already checks in place to ensure Ireland does not accept jihadists.

Enda Kenny was responding to calls from the Renua leader Lucinda Creighton who's calling for increased screening for refugees.

It follows a weekend opinion poll which showed 46% of people believe Ireland could be susceptible to a Paris-style attack.
