Police in Belfast arrest man on suspicion of attempted murder

A man was found with serious head injuries at a flat in north Belfast earlier this week

The PSNI have made an arrest in connection with the attempted murder of a 24-year-old man in north Belfast.

The victim was found last Monday morning with serious head injuries at a flat in Ross House in the Mount Vernon area.

Detectives are now questioning a 29-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder. 

He was arrested in the city last night, and the PSNI say he is assisting police with their enquiries.
