Teenager released as PSNI continue to investigate serious assault

A woman in her 40s remains in custody

A 17-year-old man has been released by police investigating an assault in Belfast.

A 24-year-old was found with serious head and facial injuries at about 11.30am yesterday at a flat in Ross House, Mount Vernon, Belfast.

A 41-year-old woman who was also arrested yesterday remains in police custody.

The PSNI is appealing for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch.
