Heavy rain will continue over southern and eastern areas today, heaviest of all over south Munster and south Leinster, with some flooding. Mainly dry over much of Ulster and Connacht, with just a few scattered showers.
Top temperatures of 10 or 11 C., along the south and southeast coasts, but cold elsewhere, with values just 4 to 7 C.
Tonight will be cold and frosty, with icy stretches on untreated roads. Some fog will form too and will be dense in places.
Lowest temperatures of -1 to +2 C, but values will rise in the southwest and along the west coast late in the night.
