At least ten confirmed dead so far
A storm described by forecasters as "particularly dangerous" has hit the South and Mid-west of the US, killing at least ten people and injuring scores more ahead of Christmas.
Ten people are reported to have been killed tornadoes moved through northern Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas.
One of those killed is believed to be a seven-year-old child.

There have been reports of at least 20 tornadoes of varying severity.
The high winds have also caused significant damage to homes, while planes at a small airport were overturned.
The bad weather is also due to hit the states of Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Alabama.
