A brief evacuation at Dublin airport has come to an end, after a morning alert there.

Terminal 2 at Dublin airport was fully evacuated for less than ten minutes before 9 O'clock, after a smoke alarm was set off by someone smoking in the toilets.

A spokesperson for the Airport says it's standard procedure to evacuate when a smoke alarm is set off.

Members of the public have now been allowed to re-enter the building.

Disruption was minimal.
