Two Limerick brothers refused bail after heroin seizure

Both were remanded in custody to appear before Limerick District Court next Tuesday

Two Limerick brothers have been refused bail after appearing in court charged with possession of an estimated €50,000 worth of heroin for sale or supply.

43-year old Brian Collopy from Kilonan, Ballysimon and and 40-year-old Kieran Collopy from St Ita's Street, St Mary's Park, appeared before a special sitting of Kilmallock District Court this evening.

They were arrested on December 15th, after a house in St Mary's Park was searched by gardaí.

The brothers were remanded in custody to appear before Limerick District Court next Tuesday.
