County employee shot 12 colleagues dead at office party
At least 14 people have been killed and 17 injured in a mass shooting at a social services centre in southern California.
Two suspects were killed in a gun battle with police, following a dramatic car chase.
San Bernardino police have named the suspects as husband Syed Rizwan Farook and wife Tashfeen Malik.
Local police chief Jarrod Burguan says the motive still isn't clear:
"Mr Farook is a county employee in the public health department. He has been employed there for five years. He was at the party, he left the party early, under some circumstances that were described as angry - or something of that nature."
Office workers were escorted to waiting school buses as the incident developed.
