Tuesday's weather: A dry start with cloud developing; Highest temperatures 13C to 15C

Today

Mostly dry for the morning with good sunshine for a few hours. Cloud will then increase in the afternoon with rain developing over Connacht and Ulster and then spreading to the rest of the country by evening.

It will become breezy as south-westerly winds freshen. Highs of 13C to 15C degrees.

Tonight

It will be a wet night as rain becomes heavy and persistent.

The night will also be windy as south-westerly winds become fresh and blustery. Lows of 11C or 12C degrees.
