Newstalk's Sarah McInerney Wins Two IMROs

The station landed six awards overall at the National Radio Awards

Newstalk's Sarah McInErney has taken home two awards from the IMRO National Radio Awards.

She landed News Broadcaster of the Year on her own.

Sarah also shares the Current Affairs Programme award with Chris Donoghue for Newstalk Drive's feature 'President Trump'. 

The station won six awards overall following a total of of 17 nominations at the annual ceremony at Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny.

Off the Ball's Ger Gilroy won the Sports Broadcaster award

While The Sports Programme award went to Off the Ball Weekday.

Other winners on the night for the station were The Pat Kenny Show's 'A History of the Scandal in the Catholic Church' won the Short Feature prize, while Futureproof's 'Living with Locked-in Syndrome' came away with the Specialist Speech Programme award.
