Gardaí are renewing an appeal for witnesses following a serious crash in north Co Dublin earlier this month.

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in the crash near road works on the L3132, St Margaret's Road in Swords during the early hours of Sunday September 10th.

According to gardaí, their investigation so far has suggested that another vehicle may have been involved in the crash.

The vehicle did not remain at the scene.

The motorcyclist, meanwhile, remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses - in particular anyone who travelled along that stretch of road between 3am and 4am on the morning in question - to contact them at Swords Garda Station on 01-666-4700, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800-666-111, or any Garda station.
