Two men stabbed during 'altercation' in north Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for information after two men were injured in an assault in Swords.

The incident took place on the town's Main Street, at around 10.45pm.

Two men - aged 19 and 21 - suffered apparent stab wounds during an altercation with a number of men.

The two men have been taken to Beaumont Hospital, and their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Gardaí have examined the scene, and they say no arrests have been made so far.
