Gardaí appeal for witnesses to serious road accident in Dublin

A 24-year-old man is in a serious condition at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin following the accident

A man in his 20s is in a serious condition in hospital following a road collision in Dublin overnight.

Gardaí are appealing for information regarding the single vehicle road accident on the Drynam Road in Swords at 2am this morning.

A 24-year-old man, who was a front-seat passenger in the car, was seriously injured in the collision and was removed to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin. 

The other two occupants of the car, both men aged 20 and 21-years-old, received minor injuries.

The road was closed for a forensic examination, however it has since reopened.
