It will be mild, blustery and cloudy today with spells of rain, but some dry periods in places this morning.
Some heavy falls of rain for a time later this morning and early afternoon, especially in Eastern areas with a risk of thunder. There will be hill and coastal fog also.
Brighter, drier weather with scattered showers will develop in western areas during the afternoon and follow eastwards later. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Fresh to strong and gusty south to southeast winds, will gradually veer southwesterly and moderate overland during the day, but will remain strong and gusty near northwestern coasts.
There will be some showers in Atlantic coastal areas tonight but it will remain mostly dry elsewhere with a mix of cloud and clear spells. Some mist in places also.
Overnight lows of 9 to 13 degrees Celsius.
