Body found in Blanchardstown identified as missing woman

Linda Evans - also known as Linda Christian - had been missing since June 24th

A body found in Blanchardstown in Dublin earlier this week has been identified as that of a missing woman.

Linda Evans - also known as Linda Christian - was reported missing from Connolly Hospital on the June 24th.

Her body was found in Coolmine Woods on Monday July 17th.

Gardaí this afternoon confirmed that the body has now been identified.

Gardaí are now renewing their appeal for anyone who may have seen Linda after she went missing.

They say they are particularly looking to speak to "any motorists (including motorcyclists) and cyclists who have dash cams or other mobile recording devices and who were in the vicinity of the Snugborough Road; Coolmine Industrial Estate; Clonsilla Road and Main Street, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 between 9.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. on Saturday 24th June 2017."
