The winning €6.4 million Lotto ticket was sold in Co Cavan, the National Lottery has confirmed.

There was one winner of last night's jackpot, which was worth €6,409,326.

The winning numbers were 07, 16, 18, 20, 24, 37 and the bonus number 13.

According to the National Lottery, the winning ticket was sold on Sunday (July 2nd) at Argue’s Londis Store in Cootehill, Co Cavan.

Reacting to the news, the store owner Jim Argue said: “The whole town is absolutely buzzing this morning, there’s great excitement locally as people wake up to news that there’s been a huge Lotto win in the town.

"The store is on a busy road and we do get a lot of passing trade so we don't know if it was sold to someone locally or someone passing through but best wishes to whoever won it.”

Officials are urging the winning ticketholder to sign the back of the ticket, and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 01-836-4444.
