Breezy and blustery in places at first today, with scattered rain and drizzle, and patches of mist, hill and coastal fog.

Generally cloudy overall, but sunnier intervals will develop in parts of Ulster and Connacht later.

Moderate to fresh southwest winds will veer westerly this afternoon and ease.

Tonight, occasional rain or drizzle, along with patches of mist and some hill and coastal fog, will continue to affect southern counties.

Becoming mostly dry with clear spells elsewhere, and just isolated showers.

Lows of 9 to 12 degrees in light to moderate westerly breezes, fresh about the Ulster coast.
