A member of the public found the remains on Saturday
Gardaí are investigating after the discovery of human remains in Co Wicklow.
A member of the public came across the remains at Military Road in Enniskerry, at around 7.45pm on Saturday evening.
The person immediately contacted An Garda Síochána.
The scene of the discovery has been preserved for a garda forensic examination.
The office of the State Pathologist and the local coroner have also been notified.
Gardaí say the remains have yet to be identified and enquires are ongoing.
Searches at the site are continuing.
