Heavy rain in many places at first on this morning with some hill and coastal fog, clearing eastwards and brightening up.
Some sunny spells developing but very heavy showers also. Some thundery downpours in places this afternoon with spot flooding and some hail also. Close and humid, top temperatures 15 to 18 degrees Celsius.
Moderate south to southwest breezes, will be fresh at times along parts of the south and east coasts and blustery around thunderstorms.
Some heavy showers early tonight, but these will become well scattered overnight away from Atlantic coastal fringes and most places will become dry. Some mist and fog developing. Overnight lows of 8 to 11 degrees Celsius.
