Aer Lingus confirms direct Dublin-Miami flights

Two new European routes are also being added...

Aer Lingus has confirmed that it is adding thrice-weekly flights to Miami from next year, as well as two new European routes.

As Newstalk.com previously reported, the direct flights to the Floridian city will be the 13th transatlantic service the airline operates.

You can fly from Dublin to Miami from September 2017, with flights starting at €299.

The IAG-owned airline also took the opportunity this afternoon to announced that it is adding extra flights on existing routes from Dublin to Los Angeles, Chicago and Orlando.

The LA service will operate daily during peak summer months, the Chicago service increases to twice daily and the Orlando service will now run four times weekly.

Not only that, two new European routes are also being added to its summer schedule – you will now be able to fly to Porto in Portugal (from €39.99) and Split in Croatia (from €69.99).
