Take a look at the winners of this year's iPhone Photography Awards

These photos from around the world are all taken with iPhones

Your iPhone is more than a phone, and these are some of the best examples of what the Apple device is capable of.

The winners of the 9th annual iPhone Photography Awards have been announced. Entries were sent into the competition from 139 countries across the world.

The first place award went to Patryk Kuleta from Poland for his photo Modern Cathedral.

In second was Robin Robertis for She Bends with the Wind.

Chinese photographer K K won in the Children category for this shot.

The overall grand prize went to Chinese photographer Siyuan Niu.

The photo is called Man and the Eagle, and Niu said "This 70 year old man is rigid and solemn in front of family and friends, but when he is with his beloved eagle, the corner of his mouth would curve up. When the eagles reach mating age, although he is very reluctant, the man releases the eagles back into nature so that they can thrive."

Prizes for the topping the categories in the competition are solid gold bars that the organisers say come from one of the most recognisable gold mints in the world.
