The Samsung CHG90 has a slight curve in the centre of the screen, providing the user will a fully immersive experience. The screen has a resolution of 3840 X 1080 and an aspect ratio of 32:9.

“Gamers want to feel completely immersed when they play, and our new monitors provide the most stunning visuals to deliver the ultimate gaming experience,” said Andrew Sivori, VP, Product Marketing at Samsung Electronics America. “These QLED gaming monitors represent the future of gaming for both casual and dedicated players alike, and we’re confident that our innovative design and state-of-the-art features will enhance the entire gaming arena.”

The monitor will retail at around €1400 and is the first in a new category of "super ultra-wide" monitors.

While it is aimed at gamers, this type of large screen is of benefit to those looking to multi-task. HP's 34-inch Envy Curved is a joy to use for even the most work tasks. The all-in-one computer is jam-packed with features, including Bang and Olufsen speakers.

Other manufacturers have also launched curved monitors in the recent past. HP's 34-inch Envy Curved, for example, is a joy to use for even the most basic work tasks. The all-in-one computer is jam-packed with features, including Bang and Olufsen speakers.
