Despite a loss against France in Lyon on Sunday afternoon, the Irish fans were in fine voice at the final whistle
After a disappointing loss to France on Sunday, Ireland fans stayed on in the stadium to show their appreciation to the players, who exited the tournament with their heads held high.
After taking the lead early through a Robbie Brady penalty, France came back into the contest in the second half, eventually taking the lead with two goals from Antoine Girezmann.
Despite the loss, and the players themselves stating that they felt terribly disappointed with the result, the fans in the Stade des Lumieres in Lyon stayed on after the final whistle to applaud and serenade the squad for their efforts.
