Multiple jerseys ripped during the team's 0-0 draw with France. Players like new Arsenal signing Granit Xhaka played on during the draw with large parts of their kit missing.

Stoke striker and Switzerland international Xherdan Shaqiri spoke to German newspaper Bild, and in his own unique way, gave his own feelings on what happened the Swiss kit.

"I hope Puma does not produce condoms", he revealed.

Despite maintaining an unbeaten run throughout the group stages, Switzerland only scored two goals, and conceded a solitary goal from the penalty spot.

Switzerland look set to meet the Group C runner-up (Germany, Poland or Northern Ireland) in Saint-Etienne on Saturday afternoon.
