A second-half goal from Graziano Pelle gave Italy a 1-0 win over Scotland as they continue their Euro 2016 preparations.

The Southampton striker only made his debut for Italy, after joining Southampton in 2014. He now has five goals in 12 games and will be expected to lead the line for the Euro 2012 runners-up in France.

Antonio Conte's side faced the Scots in their penultimate warm-up in Malta. They meet Finland in Verona next week before travelling to France.

Ireland face Italy in the teams' last game of Group E in Lille on June 22nd. It's a tie that may have implications on the future of both teams reaching the knockout stages.

Both Belgium and Sweden were also in action at the weekend. On Saturday, Belgium had a 3-1 win over Switzerland, while Sweden drew 1-1 with Czech Republic on Sunday.
