It's undoubtedly the song of the summer.

"Will Grigg's on Fire" is being sung in the stands up and down France during Euro 2016, and perhaps reached its peak in the Parc des Princes as Northern Ireland lost 1-0 to Germany.

Throughout the 90 minutes, the Green and White Army sung the song almost non-stop, to the delight of the Parisian crowd.

Despite the fact that the Wigan Athletic striker has yet to feature in the tournament, Germany defender Mats Hummels was asked if even he was terrified of Grigg before their final Group C game.

Grigg has played eight times for Northern Ireland and joined Wigan at the start of last season from Brentford, after spending last season on loan at MK Dons. The English-born striker led the team from the front scoring 28 goals.

A chant about the striker became the Wigan unoffical anthem of their promotion-winning season. To the tune, of Gala's 'Freed From Desire', the cult classic was created.

The song continues to gain notoriety, with even Grigg ending his Twitter hiatus, to promote the chant. Since then the song has gathered a life of its own, with twitter accounts being set up dubbing the chant over videos.

It's difficult to deny how catchy it actually is.
