Fianna Fáil promise 15,500 social houses if elected

Fianna Fáil says it will build 15,500 social houses in Dublin over the next five years if returned to power.

The Party says it will also increase rent supplements by 10%.

Speaking at the launch of the Fianna Fail policy for Dublin, Senator Darragh O'Brien says homelessness is the number one priority in the Capital.

It will also introduce special organised crime uand transport police nits in the city. 

Attacks on old-age pensioners will be met with mandatory sentences, it promises.

Dublin Central candidate Mary Fitzpatrick says the Government has ghettoised certain parts of the City over its failure to properly develop land.
