Royal County Down is one of the world’s best courses, nestled at the foot of the stunning Mourne Mountains . In 2016, Golf Digest magazine named it the world’s best course. In 2015 it was the host to the sell out Irish Open. It was originally laid out in 1889 by Old Tom Morris from St Andrews.
Ardglass is a stunning course in County Down, on the shores of the Irish Sea. The first five holes are truly memorable, running right along the sea. The par 3 second hole is many people’s favourite and many’s undoing with the tee shot needing to be fired across a rocky inlet. It also has the oldest building in the world being used as a clubhouse!
