The PSNI say a young boy has died after being struck by a vehicle in Armagh.

It happened in Dobsons Way, Bessbrook on Friday morning.

He was taken to hospital for treatment but subsequently died from his injuries.

Inspector Denise Graham is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact officers in Newry.
