The driver in her 60s passed away on Friday morning
Gardaí in Mayo are appealing for witnesses after a woman died in a road traffic collision.
It happened at Brize, Claremorris at 9.00pm on Thursday night.
A car and a tractor collided and the woman aged in her 60s, who was the driver of the car, was seriously injured.
She was taken to Mayo University Hospital, where she passed away Friday morning.
The driver of the tractor, a man in his 50s, was uninjured.
The road between Claremorris and Balla was closed earlier to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision investigators.
